How it works Updated!
We want to make sure that everyone has chance to win the runner of the week, so your main competition will be you!
We’ll use a points based system to sort everyone with points for the following:
1 point for going for a run (>1 mile). That’s it, just run!
- + 1 point if that run is one more than you did last week.
- + 1 point for each 5K you run.
- + 1 point per achievement (PR on a segment or PB, up to 3 points per run, and 5 per week).
- + 3 points if that run was part of a race or event (including Parkrun!)
Also, you’ll get points for improving on last week’s distance, time and elevation.
you’ll get one point per 5% increase in pace between your fastest run this week and last week.
Lastly, you can get a bonus for each 75% more Kudos you get this week.
Pretty simple? Ok, not that simple. But it should mean that everyone who gets out and runs has a chance of winning!
